Goal!: Bringing the World Together Again
Two things in life bring people around the world together like no other: Sports and Beer. While you get together with your friends this year for the World Cup, take a moment to enjoy a beer from the country that you're watching and deeply reflect on what makes that beer so unique to that part of the world.
Soccer fans are just as passionate about their beer as they are their Futbol. Some things to ponder while knocking back a hand crafted import: Where did your beer come from? What are the people like there? When will the ball get out of the middle of the field? Who is the brew master? Do I want to order nachos or wings? Is the ball still in the middle of the field?
Where ever your brain may wonder while the ball is (STILL!) in the middle of the field, there are plenty of brews to keep you occupied. Team USA Patriots: Head over to your local brewery or grab a classic California style IPA and cheers your fellow 'Mericans. (USA! USA!) If your allegiances lie overseas, you have so many options to choose from: Whether it be hoppy and refreshing English Pale Ale or a malty and spicy Belgian Dubbel with hints of fruit, there is a beer for you and your current favorite team.
Except for France. They have wine and we don't do that here.
USA! USA!

Worth the wait: Age beer at home to bring out complex new flavors
Via: Jim Galligan, TODAY Show Contributor
Beer is best when it's fresh. This is what we've had drilled into our heads for years thanks to commercials about labels with "born on" dates and tales of beers that skunked after spending too long in the garage.
While "fresher is better" holds true for about 99 percent of the beers out there, there are a select few that age like fine wine. Putting these beers away in a dark, cool place for six months to six years can yield wonderful results.
Patrick Dawson wrote the book on aging beer, and he says choosing the right beer to cellar comes down to what he calls "the three Ss."

But not everyone wants a sugary cocktail or the hangover brought on by champagne. So we're here to tell you about a lesser-known option: craft beer.
