It's Time to Roster for 2016 - 2017 Classes!
What You Need to Know!
Good Morning Parents & Guardians,

Yesterday, we met with all students regarding the Course Selection Process for the 2016/2017 school year, and we want to share some highlights of what you should know.
  • This morning in homeroom, all students received their individual rostering forms. Each form is personalized with your student's name on the upper right corner.
  • This personalized form is the form that must ultimately be returned with your signature on March 15th to the Guidance Office
  • Some elective classes are limited; those classes will be assigned on a first come first serve basis, so it is important for students to turn in their forms early in the day on the 15th if they have an elective they would like to take.
  • It is highly recommended that students, as soon as possible, make an appointment with their Guidance Counselor to discuss their course selections for next year. Freshmen and Sophomores should schedule time with Mr. Watkins, and Juniors with Mrs. Magill.
  • Each student must consult with his or her current subject specific teacher on their desired course selection for next year in that area of study (i.e. Social studies, math, language, etc), and have their desired class approved and initialed by their current teacher on the form.
  • The course description book is available on our website, plus a hard copy is available for students to review in the Library, Guidance Office, each guidance counselor's office, and in each classroom.
  • Please pay particular note to page two of the Course Description Book where the process is outlined, as well as additional details!
To briefly recap, the personalized form your child received today is the one to return with faculty signatures, and your signature on March 15th to the Guidance Office.

Should you or your student have any questions, please visit the course description book on our website, at a location noted above, or have your child contact their guidance counselor.

Thank you.
