Transportation Funding Increase Needed!

~Our Students Need Your Voice & Support~
Please Read Below & Act Today!
School transportation for nonpublic school students has been a challenge in large part due to inadequate per pupil funding.

FACT: the ceiling for nonpublic school transportation has NOT BEEN INCREASED SINCE 2008 and this needs to change in
Governor Christie's 2017 Budget.

The New Jersey Catholic Conference and the New Jersey Network of Catholic School Families support every attempt to provide equitable transportation services for nonpublic school pupils.

Please just click below to contact the Office of Governor Christie and ask him to increase the per-pupil allotment for nonpublic school transportation in his 2017 budget. In particular, parents who have been affected by lost bus routes should contact the Governor and explain how their children face much greater challenges in getting to school than the neighboring public school children.
