What Are Your Kids Doing This Summer?
Greetings!
Summer is around the corner. Get your kids off the couch, and keep them healthy, fit and happy by signing them up for the TriColumbia Kidz Triathlon taking place on July 21, 2013. The Kidz Triathlon provides youth ages 7-15 the opportunity to experience a healthy, fit lifestyle while boosting self-esteem in a fun, family-friendly environment. Kids experience the thrill of a real triathlon just like their adult role models. The event includes chip timing, age group awards, professional photography, a post race food tent and party, great music and fabulous volunteers. With entries limited to 600, this event sells out, so don't delay! Once again, the TriColumbia Kidz Triathlon will be part of the Maryland Youth Triathlon Series, the first and only of its kind youth triathlon series in Maryland, promoting sun-safe practices, encouraging healthy lifestyle choices through multisport, and showing kids that winning is finishing what you start! You can participate in just one event or choose to do all 4. Click HERE for more information and to sign up for the TriColumbia Kidz Triathlon today! The TriColumbia 2013 race season offers an array of choices for all ability levels. In addition to the TriColumbia Kidz Triathlon, races still open for registration include the Athleta Iron Girl Half Marathon & Coed 5K, the 30th Columbia Triathlon, the BRAND NEW Rocky Gap Triathlon (featuring both a Sprint and an International Distance event - with Early Bird Discounted pricing until 4/1/12), the Celebrating Heroes Sprint Triathlon, the Iron Girl Rocky Gap Triathlon and the ChesapeakeMan Endurance Festival (featuring 7 events from the SwimFest and 10 mile run, to the Ultra Distance triathlon and Moonlight Marathon). So don't delay; register today for one or more of your favorite events, and help us achieve our mission of providing premier endurance events that strengthen individuals and our community.
