Spring is Here! Let's Party!

"Spring is nature's way of saying, Let's Party!" - Robin Williams

Thank you to generous friends for giving our children
fun opportunities for adventure in March.
Odysseo by Cavalia creates a once in a lifetime equestrian experience for our kids.

The cast and crew of Odysseo, a production created by Normand Latourell, co-founder of Cirque du Soleil, designed an incredible sensory experience for our Kindergarten and Pre-K classes. Our little equestrians were invited backstage to meet the stars of the show - the horses.

They touched and groomed the horses. They felt the tackle reins and harnesses, even practicing to sit and stand on saddles. They learned what horses like to eat by touching and smelling their food. For the finale, the children and staff experienced the ground quake beneath their feet as riders surrounded them, bringing their horses to a full cantering speed.

"It was a magical experience. I watched our children actually connect with the horses. Holding one of my students, I saw the joy and excitement on his face as a horse came to us and gently sniffed his head. We are deeply grateful to Cavalia for their generosity and their understanding of the needs of our children," said Laura Curtis, Pre-K Teacher

If you leave an egg in the grass, does it make a sound? Yes - it beeps!

The International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators, Orange County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad, and Ontario Fire Department Bomb Squad used their skills to create beeper eggs for the Center.
