It's all about the senses at Blind Children's Learning Center
March has been a month full of adventures
for the little ones at
Bright Visions Early Childhood Center
and the teens in Youth Outreach.
Wow - real trucks!
Miss Raj's class learned about the sounds of construction vehicles and tools right on our campus. They had the special adventure to hear up close the real sounds of a actual steam roller.
Using trucks to create art.
Can't touch and drive the real trucks, so Miss Raj designed a way for her students to use toy trucks and paint to make wheel tracks into art masterpieces.
GOO!!!
Miss Rosario led the toddler class in making Goo!!! With a simple recipe of glue, borax, food coloring, and water, these boys and girls had a hands-on experience with the changing textures and just sticky, ooey, gooey fun.
Golf and Life Skills - A Seamless Experience
First Tee Orange County adapted their signature program - Life Skills Experience for the students in our Youth Outreach Program. They are learning the fundamentals of golf and the values inherent to the game - integrity, respect and perseverance. Gail Krause, First Tee Orange County Executive Director, is guiding Rebecca in the art of putting.
