A Time to Give Thanks
We are thankful for so much...
Our Country, Volunteers, Supporters, Families and Friends.
Thanksgiving Feast at the Center
Our campus was buzzing with activity in preparation for our Thanksgiving Feast on Friday, November 21.
The treasured tradition continues. Daily Living Skills students prepared a delicious Thanksgiving dinner for their families.
Corporate Volunteers

Alcoa employees are long-time volunteers and supporters.  This visit they worked hard to take down an old shed and replace it with a beautiful new storage unit.

After volunteering on our campus, Experian employees experienced navigating the campus blindfolded.

October 15 was White Cane Safety Day and State Street employees helped our staff conduct a White Cane Awareness Event at Pretend City Children's Museum.

On Halloween SchoolsFirst employees created a Trick or Treat extravaganza, at their offices, for our little costumed heroes and princesses.
Community Organizations

We were honored to be selected as one of the Chapman Day of Service organizations.  Chapman students worked with our students on tactile/sensory lessons.  In addition to making special treat bags for the kids.

At the Family Vision Thanksgiving Dinner, parents and children received a wonderful gift from the American Pacific Ballet Company.  Their dancers performed scenes from the Nutcracker.
National Charity League
We are grateful to have the support of several National Charity League Chapters. Recently, the North Tustin and Orange Villa Park girls helped Braille tags for special events.
