Fall is upon us and the weather has been just perfect! Warm and rich colors surround us; the crisp smell is in the air and let us not forget, the reality is that soon we will be drifting indoors to keep warm. Being inside, we start to think about what fun projects we can begin. Let us help drive your imagination. The showroom's last vignettes have been completed and they are a great place to begin. Check our Facebook page and view some of photos we've recently uploaded, then plan a visit and let one of our showroom consultants bring it all together (Remember we always have hot, fresh coffee on!).

What's New at Tile Wholesalers

Florida Tile has just released Craftsman and we have the 12x12 in stock! This line has a smooth marble look and feel that is offered in 3 colors and 3 sizes, 12x12, 18x18 and 2x2, with 1 listello that matches all colors available.  

This product is a digital porcelain tile, meaning the layout displays 20+ images before there is a repeat. In addition, it is made in the U.S.A. and is quite budget-friendly.

Coming in January 2013, we will be launching a "Design Your Own Room" feature on our  website. This interactive tool will allow you to input many of our exclusive products into a virtual room and see what the finished space will look like! We'll give you the ability to change grout colors, paint colors and even different cabinet colors into our unique portal, allowing for thousands of different looks!   

Employee Spotlight: Charlie Turner, Outside Sales Representative

Hometown: Webster, NY 

TW: Tell us a little about yourself.

CT: I am the father of two great sons and live in Webster, New York. I have always been around the tile business. My father worked at Tile Wholesalers beginning with Dave's father, Al, who founded the company.  

TW: How long have you been with TWR and what do you do in your current job?  

CT: I will be going into my 12th year at TWR. I am the Regional Sales Representative and work with architects and designers on commercial projects demonstrating our entire portfolio of products. I also work with kitchen and bath dealers, specialty flooring dealers, as well as home builders and contractors on the residential side.

TW: Tell us about a favorite recent project you were involved with.

CT: There are too many to share! One of my favorites was the Fairport Middle School project. It has a nice mix of Crossville's Color Blox and Palais series. The contemporary colors of the tile products installed on the corridor walls blended beautifully with the new tile flooring. This was an excellent design job by one of the many great architectural firms we work with.    

TW: What do you do in your spare time?  

CT: I coach both my sons in football and baseball, which keeps me very busy. I like to go out and try new restaurants in the area and golf when time permits.
