New GFOA Best Practices The GFOA has released some new white papers concerning best budgeting practices. These are not released too regularly and already two have been posted this year. Hopefully we can expect these to be released more frequently.
Public policy research institutions regularly analyze the fiscal climate and track trends in policy. As such, they have released some very helpful studies concerning the recent financial trends cities and counties are facing.
