DCS Alumni Spotlight
Ashton Wilkes
Ashton Wilkes, a resident of Acworth, has recently been awarded two honors at Auburn University. A junior at Auburn, Ashton is majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Marketing. She was accepted into Lambda Pi Eta Communication Honor Society. This acceptance indicates that she is in the top 35 percent of her class, while maintaining an exceptional grade point average. The honor also indicates Ashton's commitment to the broad field of Communication and campus leadership. Ashton was also selected into the Auburn University Sphinx Chapter of Mortar Board National Honor Society for 2016-2017. This honor society is a national honor society whose membership is based on excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service. Mortar Board membership is one of the highest honors bestowed upon a student at Auburn University as only 50 students are initiated each year. As a part of this hono r, Ashton was also selected to receive the Jewel Golden Eubanks '33 Mortar Board Honor Society Endowed Scholarship for the upcoming academic year.
This summer Ashton will complete an internship with Allied Integrated Marketing in Atlanta, GA.

Support the DCS Rewards Programs
Parents, we have added another simple way for Dominion to earn money through a new rewards program. The Amazon Smile program will donate 0.5% on eligible purchases to Dominion Christian Schools for those who participate in the program. To get started, you must shop through their Amazon Smiles site: http://smile.amazon.com instead of the traditional Amazon site. Once on this site, search for " Dominion Christian Schools, Inc" Marietta, GA and choose our school as the beneficiary. You will then shop as usual (all products/prices are the same as the regular amazon site). If everyone participates, the 0.5% will add up to a respectable donation for Dominion. Last year you all helped our school raised approximately $1000 from box tops, coke rewards, and labels for education. Thank you so much for your continued participation in all of these programs!
