Landscaping at Dominion
There has been quite a bit of new landscaping done going down toward the soccer and baseball fields, around the field house, batting cage and hillside. It is looking fantastic! ... and as the sod takes root and gets nourished, it will really shine.
Please help us out as we maintain these areas by keeping off the hillside and the grass islands. Please use the cement stairways to access the athletic fields.

Athlete of the Week 3/16 - 3/20
Track and Field Middle School Girls Seventh grader Renee Dockins was the only middle school student competing in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and triple jump, so she was placed into varsity competition, only to place second in the 100, and third place in both the 300 hurdles and triple jump. Not bad for never having done either event. Middle School Boys Kudos to the middle school boys 4x100 meter relay team of Kollin Washington, Alex Wilson, Nolan Curlee, and Lance Beaudry for "running" away with 1st place in the Trinity meet. Varsity Girls Grace Schumacher picked up where she left off last season winning the triple jump, and the 200 meters. Grace placed second in the long jump. Varsity Boys Justin Jewell wowed the spectators in his performances placing among the top 3 in the 400 meters and the top seven in the 200 meters. Giving notice to region 1AAA to look out he is only a step behind for now!
Tennis Arles Johnson and Ross Dockins have started out the year with a boom! They won against Holy Spirit and gave DC its first win. They're charismatic funny demeanor keeps the practices entertaining and the atmosphere. Go Arles and Ross!
Soccer Varsity Girls
Christiana Green has been a consistent leader during our first few soccer games. She has scored 3 goals in 3 different games and is our leading scorer so far this season.
Baseball
Andrew Giles is off to a great start with already hitting two home runs, five doubles and 11 RBI'S in five games. He is also showing great leadership and character on and off the field.
