Long Term Commitment Pays Collegiate Dividends!
A nything of true value will need investment of time and commitment. Just ask Senior Captains Riley Howard, and Bryant Amburn. This will be Riley's 5th year and Bryant's 4th with the Dominion Christian Varsity Baseball Program. As a result of "staying the course" they have been able to lead their "Knights" to a Region Runner-Up finish, as well as play host to its first state playoff game in four years.
Riley has put pressure on opposing teams all season by hitting .447, with an On Base Percent of .725. Riley also knows what it is like to take one for the team, hit by a pitch 17 times this season.
Bryant has slugged his team into contention with a slugging percent of .485, and 10 RBIs, with an On Base Percent of .467.
Riley and Bryant have played such a factor in the success of their team over the past years that they have caught the attention of college scouts. After sorting through a number of opportunities, they were able to finalize their decision and now will give their commitment to Erskine College and Point University respectively.
GOD honors our efforts and commitment - "A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men." - Proverbs 18:16
