High School Preview Night
High School Preview Night
Tuesday, October 29, 6:30 pm

Dominion middle school parents and students are invited to a "preview" night of Dominion's high school program. Have you wondered...
  • why a Christian education?
  • what is distinctive about a Dominion education?
  • will I be college-ready? life-ready?
  • why do we say "mind, body, and soul"?
  • what do classes look like? does class-size matter?

Come out for a time of question and answers.

Dominion Outreach Club

Please join the Dominion Outreach Club "DOC" in the

Inaugural Dominion Outreach Club

Thanksgiving Project

Thanksgiving is a time to give God thanks for our many blessings throughout the year. It is also a time for us to be a blessing to others. A time for us to become "self-less". A time to truly become the hands and feet of Jesus. The Outreach Club is starting a new tradition for Dominion Christian School by feeding struggling families for Thanksgiving.

Dominion Christian School will supply food to 40 families of Hayes Elementary School on Thursday, Nov 21. Boxes containing a thanksgiving dinner will be distributed to these families during the day.

To achieve success in this endeavor, we would love to have every family that is able to help . This can be done by signing up to bring in a food product (or 40!) on Sign Up Genius. Log on to:

www.signupgenius.com/go/4090548ACA72CA31-thanksgiving

Thank you in advance for giving and sharing God's love.

Let you light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven (Matt 5:16)

Thank You for all you do!

I would like to thank all the parents again for the kind and very generous donations of food for the alumni tent for homecoming.  As usual, it was a great success. The alumni were awed at the amount of food and all the variety of the delicious dishes.  They kept telling me they couldn't eat it all!!  I am reminded of the story in scripture of the fishes and the loaves and how there was such an abundance - more than enough to feed everyone.

I would also like to thank these ladies who did everything from manning the alumni tent for me while I was taking care of the homecoming court to helping with clean-up afterwards - Carla Herrin, Lisa Mason, Felicia Jackson, Melinda Haulbrook, and Carol Johnson. They kept everything organized and flowing smoothly and were a big blessing to me.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Homecoming such a big success!

Emily Filer, Sabrina Johnston, and Katherine Matthews, and Anna Beth Lewis are all receiving the athlete of the week.

These are our four seniors and we have loved watching them grow this season.  Anna Beth was a great manager who was so selfless and helpful all season.  Katherine was a strong leader on our JV team as well as a huge contributor to the team on varsity.  Emily Filer was a great leader on the varsity team both athletically and spiritually.  Sabrina Johnston was the overall leader in blocks, digs, and kills this year and was a strong all-around player.  Congratulations seniors on a great season!
