College Advisement & Informational Meeting Tuesday, October 8 @ 6:30pm
This is a reminder that Tuesday, October 8 at 6:30 pm in the computer lab. Mrs. Peeples will be discussing the Naviance program and steps you should be taking in preparation for the college application process.
It is recommended that the student and at least one parent attend. This is a required meeting for all sophomores and freshman. All communication in regards to the college process will be conducted through the Naviance program. Your personal code will be given at the meeting.
The meeting should last approximately 30-45 minutes.

DCS Alum Operates on the Field!
Congratulations to former Dominion Christian football player, Julian Hawkins, for being named offensive player of the week in Rhodes College's 24 to 21 overtime win over Austin College. Julian had 4 key receptions that helped Rhodes pull off the win.
Julian is a senior pre-med student at Rhodes who will eventually hang up his cleats for a "white overcoat". Julian is aspiring to be a surgeon. Julian has interned the last two years under some of Atlanta's top surgeons.

Varsity: Lucy Niverson
Lucy Niverson is the varsity athlete of the week for her strong performance against the Weber school on Tuesday. Lucy lead our team with aces, assists, and digs. She had 3 aces, 20 assists, and 21 digs. Congrats Lucy!
JV: Katherine Matthews
The JV athlete of the week is Katherine Matthews for her leadership and strong performance off the bench during the Weber game on Tuesday. Katherine always has a positive attitude!
Middle School: Grace Gibson
Grace Gibson receives the athlete of the week for her consistency. Grace always gives 100% and helps her team play hard. In the game last week against Community Christian, Grace served 6 serves in a row, giving her team a quick 6-0 lead!

Parent-Teacher Conferences |

As we come close the end of first quarter...
Although Dominion does not have "formal" parent/teacher conference days, we do encourage parent-teacher communication throughout the school year. If needed, please contact your child's teacher to set up a time to meet. Or if you just need a quick update or explanation, send a quick email to the teacher.
We also are happy to accommodate group conferences if desired. These can be scheduled by contacting Mr. Peeples ( [email protected]).

Coffee & Tea at Break
The DCS Coffee Shop is underway. Because of the high demand and cost in specialty coffees and teas, we will need to increase the cost to $1.50.
The new pricing will begin Monday October 7th.
