Dear R.E. Families and Catechists,

         Important Clarifications!

Since only 95 people opened this yesterday, I thought
I would send it again since I needed to make clear that the "Evening Students" who are invited down for pizza are the
6th to 12th graders who usually come to class from 6:30 PM to 8 PM.  All families are invited to join us for Mass, but only the 6th through 12th graders and their teachers are invited to come down for pizza after Mass.  There is no way I could do that for so many hundreds of people as much as I love you.
Afternoon students will go home with their families after Attendance Awards and Report Cards are given out after Mass.
Children 3rd grade and younger should stay in Church with their teachers until their parents claim them.  We will not use classrooms at all.
The Appreciation Dinner on May 22nd at 6 PM is for our R.E. Volunteers and not for R.E. Families.  I was hoping that some families would be willing to donate a tasty dish for this dinner honoring our dedicated and faithful Catechists and their helpers.  Please let me know.  Cheesy potatoes, anyone?  How about chocolate covered strawberries?  Yummy vegetables?
I hope that clears up any misunderstandings.  Hope to see you tomorrow.  Thanks and God bless you!  Mrs. O'D

(Yesterday's email is below if you missed it.)

                                                                                         May 6, 2013

                                  Please remember:

1. First Communion children are invited to wear their   First Communion clothes this Wednesday, May 8th, for our
4 PM Closing Mass.  Bring one flower for our Blessed
Mother and line up in the St. Joseph Center before Mass.

2. Please put R.E. Registration Forms for next year, Vacation Bible School forms, Volunteer R.S.V.P forms and Food Donation slips for our Volunteers' Appreciation Dinner on May 22nd in the basket in the St. Joseph Center when you come to Mass this Wednesday.

3. We are still owed $3000 in tuition payments for this past year. That puts a huge hole in our budget for next year. Please make every effort to pay these past due billsby the end of this month.  (R.E. Tuition is one of the best bargains on earth!)

4. Evening students are invited to join us for the 4 PM Mass and then go down to the St. Joseph Basement for a pizza party.  If you were not in on the pizza count last Wednesday, please let Mrs. O'D know that you are coming.

5.  Please bring your children to Mass every week this summer, whether convenient or inconvenient, so that our Lord Jesus can nourish your souls with His Divine Life. Be fully Catholic that Our Lord might bless you and your precious family.

6. Have a happy, healthy and holy summer, living in our
Lord's love and amazing grace.

                                                  With much love and hope,
                                                   Diane O'Donnell
