Nine individuals and one team were inducted into UWRF Athletic Hall of Fame Oct. 2 as part of the annual Homecoming festivities. A large crowd was on hand for the ceremony as inductees spoke fondly of their UWRF experiences. Read more.
As a drinker of craft beers, Adam Folk was eager to harvest his first full crop of hops this fall. With about 800 plants, each taking about a half-hour to hand-pick, he was excited to learn of a new hops thresher for small-scale growers being developed by UWRF ag engineering students. A delegation from UW-River Falls recently traveled to Asia to deepen connections and relationships with educational partners, alumni and friends. UWRF signed two partnership agreements, including a new 2+2 business English agreement that will provide new opportunities for ZISU students to attend UWRF as degree seeking students. Read more.
