The College of Business and Economics Adult Degree Completion program has seen consistent growth since its initial enrollment of 20 students in 2010 and has reached a milestone of 100 students enrolled this semester.

Alumnus Cary Sifferath, '88, has traveled the world during his 20 years of service with the U.S. Grains Council. As the USGA regional director for the Middle East and Africa, he has weathered some difficult times.

Alumnus Dan Heschke, '85, returned to campus in November as a guest speaker of the Computer Science and Information Systems Department. He has more than 28 years of experience in the IT field, working with leading consumer products and technology companies in both domestic and international markets.

The Board of Regents and the State Building Commission have approved a renovation for
the David Smith Stadium at Ramer Field. The plan calls for replacement of the press box with a new structure that will include coaches boxes, a VIP room, ticketing, and a new entrance. Read more.

The Society of Physics Students (SPS) has won an Outstanding Chapter Award for 2012-13 from the SPS National Office. This is the 17th time the UWRF chapter has been recognized. Read more.  

A team of UWRF students took first place in the Holstein class of the North American International Livestock Exposition Invitational Dairy Judging Contest Nov. 10 in Louisville, Ky. Read more.  

Students from UWRF took top honors in two competitions at the 2013 Joint Annual Meeting of the American Society of Agronomy, the Crop Science Society of America and the Soil Science Society of America in November.
