Greetings!
 Happy New Year!! 
Looking back at the last year there are many things to be thankful for; we are thankful to our parents for the gifts that were given to staff during the Christmas holiday.  We were blessed by the generous offerings that were given to support our Christmas bonuses-thank you! 
As we look ahead we are so grateful for what the Lord has planned for FCCA and one exciting new change is our website!!
 
 Tiffany Schutz is our website manager and has done a fabulous job in re-building the site. Moving ahead for this year, please refer to the website for the monthly newsletter, lunch menu, calendar and other important school announcements.  Our goal is to be responsible stewards both of our environment, and our budget. Therefore, we ask that you help us in our effort to save money in the cost of printing and refer to the website for information. Watch for our new PTF newsletter that will be added to our website. This will include minutes from our meetings, updates and announcements!

BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE!!!
Please be sure to send your child to school with a warm jacket.   Gloves and hat are important as well.  The children will be going outside and we want them to be warm!!
Flu season is upon us.  Be sure to get a flu shot. (Please see the link provided in the right margin.)
SCHEDULE CHANGE
The ACSI Conference has been changed to April 12th.  FCCA will be closing at noon on the 12th.

VISION SCREENING
 
January 24th and 25th children ages 3 and 4 years will have the opportunity to have free vision screening sponsored by the Elks Club.
 
Slow down Sign PLEASE SLOW DOWN IN THE PARKING LOT!!!
 We have had some close calls in our parking lot lately because of drivers in a hurry.  Please be extra aware of parents and children on foot and drive slowly from entrance to exit  .

February 22nd at 6:30 p.m. 
 
Pre-K students are invited to particiapte in this event!!  We would love to see any of our  parents entertain us with a song or poem or maybe play an instrument.  A flyer went home this week with the schedule.  If you need more info stop by the office.
