October, 2014 marks the passing of a luminary water guardian and way-shower in the field of consciousness Dr. Masaru Emoto. Dr. Emoto gave us all extraordinary visual pictures of the impact our consciousness can have on water. "Water is the mirror that has the ability to show us what we cannot see. It is a blueprint for our reality, which can change with a single, positive thought. All it takes is faith, if you're open to it." Dr. Masaru Emoto.
November 4th, 2014 Santa Barbara County residents each have the opportunity to safeguard a precious "blueprint for reality" called the water of Santa Barbara County. November 4th we can join the water guardians of our county, by casting a YES vote on Measure P at the ballot box. YES on measure P, is a yes to protecting and conserving our water and a NO to Fracking and extreme oil extraction techniques. To learn more visit: www.yesonmeasurep.com Our collective voice on measure P is poised to have a profound impact on the present reality of our water and that of many generations to come.
Dr. Emoto's message of the impact our consciousness has on water, has direct implications to bodywork. Science tells us that our physical bodies are 70-90% water. The beautiful crystals that arise in water when we focus our thoughts on gratitude, arise as well within the waters of our body when we embody gratitude or receive the loving touch a bodyworker. In the classroom, we call that loving touch the "big mitt". The "big mitt" is our visual description of the energy field that emanates from the chi filled hands of an energy-based/bodyworker.
Likewise our message at the Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute is that we can profoundly transform our bodies, our consciousness and our lives through loving touch/"big mitt" contact. Our 3000 plus students have affirmed this message repeatedly in the classroom - the practice of giving and receiving bodywork creates positive, healing change in body, mind and life experience. Dr. Emoto's photography of water gives us a visual glimpse of how this transformation can arise through shifting consciousness within our body.
