As we enter the final months of 2014, we are called to inform our local businesses that the 250 hour minimum bar for State Certification is set to change in 2015. January 1st 2015, the minimum bar towards State Certification, will increase to 500 hours of training and a written exam issued by the State Board. State Certification is required by most municipalities to practice bodywork professionally. As State Certification is being adopted by more and more municipalities we have been approached by distressed bodyworkers requesting 50 hour intensive training's so they can continue to practice. 

 

This fall we are offering a variety of short courses as well as our longer programs to satisfy State Certification requirements.

  • If your employees are a 200 hour practicing bodyworker:  We highly encourage you to ask them to join us for 50 additional hours of training and apply for State Certification by December 31st, 2014.
  • If your employees are ONLY licensed through the city's municipality: we highly encourage you to ask them to apply for the State of California Certification by December 31st, 2014
