Evolution Revolution TV Show

Susan Allan has invited Kathleen Mickey and student guests to join her for the show, Evolution Revolution, to discuss the life changing benefits of massage, and the school's great attributes.

and will air live on Channel 17 in Santa Barbara at 3 p.m.

Pregnancy Massage

This 30 hour course prepares body workers to provide support for the mother to be through all the stages of pregnancy, labor and postpartum. Students will learn a wide assortment of techniques specific for addressing the physical and emotional challenges that arise during pre, and post pregnancy. The course covers morning sickness, hormonal changes, muskuloskeletal strain, preparing the perineum, indigestion, labor support, fetal considerations, anxiety, postpartum belly and more! 

Instructor, Katie Mickey
brings 28 years of private practice to the classroom. She serves as director of the Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute and has provided pregnancy massage instruction for a pregnancy massage study involving staff from Saint Francis Hospital, Fielding Institute and UCLA Medical School.

Instructor, Mary Sullivan  

brings 34 years of body work practice to the classroom. She is a licensed Acupuncturist, Craniosacral Therapist and Registered Polarity Practitioner as well as graduate from Pacifica Graduate Institute. She maintains a private practice in Northfork, Fresno and Santa Barbara.
