Greetings!

Ever wonder why some folks seem to be able to handle a lot while others buckle or get overwhelmed with just minor stressors? Our capacity to handle stress has a lot to do with the power of our nerve force and unimpeded waves of motion, nerve transmission and circulation of fluids.

Physical stress is often a result of restrictions we put on our body's movement. With long stationary bouts on the computer or behind the wheel, the muscles of our back, neck and cranium often get tight and contracted. Chronic contraction in these muscles impedes the free flow of electrical impulses and information arising from the nervous system to the organs, glands and muscles of the body.

Opening the flow of communication between the nervous system and the rest of the body, is a fast track approach to destressing the body and revitalizing the organs and glands. One of my favorite approaches to address this is a technique called "rub spine", offered within an Integrative Craniosacral Session. The technique involves light contact along the spinal column between the vertebra, that gently re-establishes nerve flow through the spinal chord and to the rest of the body. The technique is profoundly relaxing  and amazingly restorative. Receiving the technique has been transformative, allowing me to move from a state of  exhaustion and high emotional distress to abundant energy, and a state of ease and quiet mind.

Monday afternoon we are offering a specialty clinic in Integrative Craniosacral Therapy. You are invited to come strengthen your nerve force, release restrictions and enhance your overall vitality.
