 Medical Qigong is used in a similar way that physical therapy addresses specific medical conditions with applied exercises. Sessions are relaxing and soothing and provide the release of stress on all levels. Medical Qigong is a combination of energy work and qi massage. It addresses the internal organs, meridians, chakra gates, and body systems, to assist the body in its natural process of repair and restoration of harmony. In addition it strengthens the protective field around the body and builds up the immune system, aiding in the prevention of illness and aging.
