 Greetings!

Ever get such a fantastic "rub" on your back that your whole body went into deep "chill" mode with waves of profound relaxation? Ever get "rubbed" in the spaces between your vertebrae where your mininges lie. If your answer is yes, chances are you have received a session in our integrative carniosacral clinic, where therapists are practicing a unique form of "rub" or grounding contact with the central hub of your body- your central nervous system. We call this unique approach to back massage a

 "rub spine".

Sessions in our integrative craniosacral clinics will blend "Rub Spine"  light touch contact on the spinal reflexes to ground the nervous system and balance the spacing of the vertebral bones and disks; with melding touch  handsandwiches to soften and spread the horizontal  fascial planes and firm  touch finger fulcrums to gently release the suboccipital muscles at the cranial base.

If you are new to Craniosacral therapy, it is a branch of osteopathic medicine that contacts the cranial field, that is the brain and spinal column, with a dime's weight of pressure to realign the bones in the fluid medium in which they float and move. The theory is that  if the bones are impeded in their movement, the entire central and autonomic nervous systems are thrown out of balance causing a myriad of symptoms.

We invite you to give your spine a rub, your nervous system a chance to decompress and your facial planes a chance to soften and spread with an Integrative Craniosacral session.
