Thanks to several of our Chatterpaul's regulars for being supportive on that very first busy "unadvertised" night!
Chef Chad has outdone himself with this new menu - spectacular and very, very beautiful!
I think we already have a few great "regulars" even though we have only been open for 5 days!
Patio is ready, dining room is fabulous and bar is OUTSTANDING! You will see a bunch of new smiling faces serving you!

Ladies 5th Annual Golf Tournament 
We are reeling from the success and excitement of our 5th annual Ladies Charity Golf Tournament - Wow - what an incredible night.
Final numbers are not yet in, but as of last evening, we had raised almost $18,000 for the NICU at Lakeridge Health Oshawa!
Many thanks to the incredible team of volunteers, under the guidance of Dale Mar and Louise Ritchie, including Kelly Doye, Lisa Baker, Olivia Mar, Kathy Lynch, Bob Purdy , Tamara Chesney and Ania Brzezanski for carrying much of my load this year in getting so many donations and sponsors, as you know who was busy with the birth of Tetra!
Hundreds of hours of their time went into this huge venture and both Chad and I are very grateful for their devotion to this cause.
Thanks again to Dale Mar, and our guest speaker her lovely daughter, Olivia, once a tiny preemie but now a beautiful, healthy, thriving, busy teenager, for making us more aware of the need for support in the NICU at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
A huge thank you to my whole family - my kids and their spouses, my siblings and their spouses and Carrot Cake lady - who donated a cake to the cause! Delicious and greatly appreciated - thanks Mom.
Jac Horrigan, our MC kept us entertained and amused, even while we were struggling to get our microphone working - which we finally did, thanks to Ryan Johansen! Thanks also, Ryan for being such an incredible auctioneer!
Best of all - thanks again to Chef Chad and our incredible kitchen squad for putting together yet ANOTHER fabulous menu for us! Amid all of the screaming and celebrating in our very crowded dining room, we managed to enjoy the fabulous food and wine!
Soon after our wrap up meeting, we will be selecting another charity and moving on to next year!!!

What a Season for Love 
We have had more wedding and rehearsal dinners this year than ever!
From small (only the bride and groom the new Mr. & Mrs.Kirk Smith) to 95 guests for the Sunday afternoon nuptials for Clancy and Paul - we have fed them all! And they all left smiling!
It would be our pleasure to help you organize your special day - our venue is becoming very popular and of coarse, it's all about the food!

September Wine Features
South Africa is the region for our monthly wine feature.
KWV Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Blend -black cherry, plum and blackberry, yet smooth and a little spicy, yum with steak.
Chenin Blanc - fresh and lively, with guava flavour - would be great with our salmon dish!
$7.50 a glass or $30 a bottle!
And as an added bonus, the lovely Anjana Golsalves from The Kirkwood Group, will be joining us Monday Sept, 15th (12 - 1:30pm.) and Wednesday Sept, 24th (12-1:30pm.)

Free Lunch on your Birthday 
Ah but yes, ONLY Monday to Friday when we are open for lunch.
This does make some people angry - sorry we apologize for this inconvenience, but it is our ONLY policy.
However, two ladies were smiling! Barb Frigault and Elizabeth Holden celebrated their "twin" birthday with us this year. Friends for many years and co-celebrants on this special day!
