 Savour the Season, Durham Regions' rendition of "Summerlicious" was also a huge hit. Chad outdid himself creating a new array of taste sensations for the 12 day event. Thanks to all who supported us during that time. Watch for it again in the spring!

This month's $50 gift certificate winner is Beverley. Beverley said: "Yet again, Chad & Staff have outdone themselves. It was a Wonderful evening....no words can describe how much we all enjoyed our food. (A lot of taste testing was going on at our table)....Birthday Boy; however, was a little selfish....refused to share his beef ribs....left us all salivating!!! Long story short.... a Great Time was had by all. Look forward to our next visit! Thanks Beverley! Please contact us before the end of October 2013 to claim your prize!

| What a great sunny Monday
Greetings!
What a fabulous fall day - a beautiful prelude to what looks to be an amazing Thanksgiving weekend!
We are ever so grateful and especially thankful this time of year for all of you for making our days so rewarding and exciting here at Chatterpaul's!
Having said that, please note that we will be closed Sunday October 13th and Monday October 14th to celebrate the holiday with our families and friends also. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Next week, however - we are back to celebrating!

Our October Monthly Wine Feature
Make a note: Wednesday October 16th - 12-2 pm and Thursday October 24 - 6-8 pm, Anajana Gonsalves, territory manager for The Kirkwood Group, will be offering tastings for our monthly feature wines - KWV Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot from South Africa. Both wines are offered this month as our feature and for our Thursday Pasta and Wine special. Ajnaja will be happy to answer any questions and let you sample these fun wines.
They are a great value at $30.00 per bottle or $7.50 per glass any time throughout the month of October.

So Many Reader's Choice Awards!!  A HUGE thank you to everyone for nominating and voting for us in the annual Readers' Choice competition. An rewarding year for us! We got 10 awards in all - 8 for Whitby/Oshawa include Diamond Award for: Best All-Around Restaurant, Best Caterer, Best Restaurant for Foodies, Best Seafood and (OF COURSE) Best Chef Chad (was there ever a question here?) Platinum Award - Best Bistro, Best Business Lunch Gold Award - Best Fine Dining

4th Annual Golf Tournament a Hit!
 We are still reeling over the excitement from our 4th Annual Golf Tournament. 
$10,253 was raised that day - all to Ovarian Cancer Canada. Many thanks to all attendees, volunteers, sponsors and donators, but especially to my great committee Louise Ritchie, Pam Lawton, Bob Purdy and Katherine Rankine for the many hours and meetings they put in. Such an exciting and sunny day at Heather Glen - ALMOST a hole in one for the Nurse Chev Olds car - great golfers - NOT SO GREAT golfers, and an amazing dinner back at Chatterpaul's with Hugh Heron (emcee) pulling it all together for us.
Special thanks to Ania, Mark and Ryan for their "night of" assistance, and of course to our wonderful staff, both front and back, for doing the Chatterpaul's thing so well. It was fabulous!

Winemaker's Dinner is on October 22!
We are so excited about our McManis Winemaker's Dinner on October 22nd! Chad has designed a fabulous 5 course menu to compliment the delicious offerings from this California vineyard! We are always happy to customize a menu for you too - large groups or small! Our wine experts are available also, if you need help with wines. Just let us know.

 Celebrate the Holidays at Chatterpaul's (Even in January!)
Thanks to everyone for booking holiday parties so early with us! We still have some dates left for your groups or staff - if you would like to celebrate with us (lunch or dinner) at Chatterpaul's.
Menus are still in the development stages for this, but be assured - they will be the same tantalizing flavours and qualities you have come to expect from us.
However, if December is too busy for you and your company, talk to us about a "Post Holiday" party sometime in January. Many of our guests have decided to celebrate in the New Year - less stress - and gives them something to look forward to!
