Don't you just love the first day of this season? This weather is finally amazing. The only thing is, however, I start to worry that after today, the days start getting shorter!
Well, I for one am smiling - I love the sun!

Our Ever-Popular Monthly Wine Feature
Heather Stewart is also smiling! Heather was the lucky winner of our fabulous wine and accessory gift basket compliments of Cristina Speciale of Treasury Wines. Thanks so much to Cristina for helping us out with our fabulous wine feature in May.
Our June wine feature continues to be a huge success! We are offering Lumina Ruffino Pinot Grigio $7.50 per glass and $28.00 per bottle and Aziano Ruffino Chianti $10 by the glass and $39 for the bottle. Great chance to try something new. Let us know what you think of them. We are always anxious to please you and update our wine list when we can!

Golf season is certainly upon us!!
 We were proud, once again, to be a part of Mayor Pat Perkins annual charity golf tournament this week. Our now famous "Gorgonzola Stuffed Lamb Sliders" were a huge hit again this year. Thanks to our great staff, Ania and Raj, for representing Chatterpaul's so well with me that day.
The excitement for our 4th Annual Ladies Charity Tournament is growing. Tickets are now in and we have half of the teams sold already! My beautiful daughter Rachel has 3 teams sold already! (Gotta love family!) My fabulous committee members Louise Ritche and Pam Lawton are busy, busy getting prizes and organizing for September 16th. More exciting news, Hugh Heron, of Heron Homes (and a great philanthropist) has generously offered to be our MC for the evening! Thanks Hugh, in advance. We look forward to your fabulous enthusiastic support of our cause, Ovarian Cancer Canada.  Prizes are coming in (thanks to everyone) and Mary Nurse of Nurse Chevrolet Cadillac has generously donated a brand new Chevrolet Spark for a Hole in One prize!! Thanks so much Mary! This will make our day even more thrilling! Please call to secure your spot to golf. We are very grateful for any donations, cash, prizes or sponsorships you could provide. Proceeds this year go to Ovarian Cancer Canada - and we have set a very lofty goal of $8000 as our donation this year. Whitbylicious is Summerlicious
We are excited to announce the First Ever Whitbylicious - Summer Edition! Along with several other independent restaurants in Whitby, we will be participating in Summerlicious Whitby from July 5th - July 21st - offering 3 course lunch and dinner delights from the fabulous Chatterpaul's kitchen. Chef Chad is busy getting this ready for you.
We are, once again, making a cash donation from each dinner sold to local Whitby Food Banks. Last fall, we were proud to submit $500 to Whitby charities to help feed families. We are proud to be a part of the Durham Region food celebration again this year. Keep the dates in mind for this very popular event. Again, reservations are strongly suggested for this. Menus not yet available, but they will be on the Durham Region website, as well as www.chatterpauls.com when they are ready!

(Half price Caesars, Mussels and Oysters) is growing in popularity! We have moved the mussel station back into the kitchen, however. Our smoke alarm is so sensitive - and we discovered (much to our surprise) that none of our guests really enjoy the fire alarm during their meal! If you love mussels, Monday is your day! Come in 4-9pm. Mondays to enjoy. COME OUT OF YOUR SHELL!

Lights Up!
Finally - we are replacing the chandeliers over our booths!  Those great looking floor lamps (that were installed up-side-down) eventually stopped holding their bulbs! Gravity sucks - as we all know, and eventually those old girls gave up! Thank you for your patience during the "dark days". The replacement is happening right now at the restaurant. We are thrilled and excited about the new look. Hope you'll like it too!
