| What a great sunny Monday
Greetings!
I am so sad to be saying "good bye" to summer today, but what an amazing one it was! It really reminded me of the summers of my childhood - day after day of sun and heat - spectacular!
Once again, our garden was amazing - we have so many grapes this year, it's almost overwhelming. Any good grape jelly or jam recipes out there for me, or as my granddaughter Olivia says "Mammy, let's try to make wine!" I love that girl!
Just to let you know, we are fully reserved on September 30th for a wedding at Chatterpaul's. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but it sure is a great venue for a great party. More and more couples are calling us to discuss weddings here. Let me know if we can help you!

We welcome the fall season with our Savour the Season menu offered again this year. It is a joint venture organized by the Region of Durham, between local farms and restaurants. Many new guests have found their way to Chatterpaul's to sample our offerings, and MANY of our wonderful regular guests have given Chad and the chefs a huge thumbs up on our 2012 menu. It will run until this Sunday - we have a few spots still open for Sunday if you would like to join us. Please call for a reservation.

Chatterpaul's Celebrates Savour the Season on Rogers
We were selected to be a part of the Savour the Season promotion with Rogers again this year. Our chef, Stephen Hendrickson, prepared our incredible Jerk Chicken Salad starter and our lamb sirloin main course from our Savour menu.

And What a Golf Day It Was!
We love the ladies!!
Our 3rd Annual Chatterpaul's Charity Fall Classic was enjoyed by over 50 fabulous women at Heather Glen.
We were so fortunate to have a sunny, hot day on the course, followed by an amazing dinner at Chatterpaul's!
This year, our committee, Dawn Clugston, Louise Ritchie and Pam Lawton brought their golf experience to the event - hole sponsors and an exciting silent auction table added to the fun and fundraising effort.
We were proud to make a donation of $3,500 to Ontario Shores that night. Thanks so much to everyone for sharing their time with us and helping make this day so very memorable and fun!

New Shiraz Coming Soon!
Australian winemakers are in Toronto this month promoting Shiraz. We were fortunate to attend two tastings during the past couple of weeks from the Mitolo Vineyard Jester collection. Two of our terrific staff , Patti and Shark joined me for an evening of wine and comedy. Lots of laughs and great wine! Look for a new Shiraz soon on our list.
