Urban Blues
Paintings by Richard Pian
featuring collaborative works with T.K. Mundok
Painter Richard Pian draws inspiration from the unexpected sights and spaces found in our urban world. With an iridescent pallet that changes in light, Pian creates peaceful dream-like moments from what he finds in both the ordinary and extraordinary scenery of our surroundings. His intent is to the draw the viewer into a transformed vision of our conventional world.
In a series of collaborative works with artist T.K. Mundok, Pian shares his affinity for the Golden Gate Bridge. By bringing together their different artistic styles and perspectives, Pian and Mundok are building an urban bridge between different generations by visually communicating the ever changing beauty of our world.
