Join us for hands-on historic vehicle restoration activities Guests will have the opportunity to see how a wheel is made as well as get the chance to try their hand at setting spokes.
 

History Sandwiched In: Ice Harvesting on Madison's Lakes

Hear from Ann Waidelich, retired librarian and Madison historian, as she illustrates the process of harvesting ice out of Madison's lakes, identifies the ice harvesting sites, and shows how it was stored and sold both locally and out of state.










Black Point Estate: A Preservation Success Story

Learn how Black Point was preserved despite numerous challenges including legal opposition. You will also learn what amazing architecture was lost around Geneva Lake and why historic preservation can be an asset to any community.

Dog Sled Rides

Beer Barons of Geneva Lake...and their Milwaukee Neighbors

Introduce yourself to the six beer barons of Geneva Lake and the four major brewers from Milwaukee in this illustrated presentation. Learn the difference between ale and lager beer, the basics of brewing beer in the 19th century, and how the brewers responded to Prohibition.
