Greetings!

Welcome!  With plenty to share, let's keep the introduction short shall we?  We're just around the corner from our fall programming.  As we told you earlier this month, our attendance and revenue numbers are up, but it's still important to us that we continue to provide top-notch products across the sites and museums.  So onto the end of August and early September events at the many different places we have across the state.  Keep in mind that our First Capitol site closes on Labor Day.

Belle Case La Follette and Progressive Reform
The New York Times hailed Belle Case La Follette as "perhaps the least known, yet the most influential of all the American women who have had to do with public affairs in this country." Among her many accomplishments, this shy Wisconsinite fought against President Woodrow Wilson's efforts to racially segregate Washington, DC - and won. Come join in an illustrated conversation with Santa Clara University History Professor, and La Follette biographer, Nancy C. Unger to learn about one "powerless" woman's ability to make a difference.
