"...to inspire excellence in choral music through
Education, Performance, Composition, and Advocacy."

September 2014 ChoraLink
Fall has arrived, and that means the Eastern Division leadership will be converging soon for its annual fall conference planning meeting. We are thrilled to be in Boston, MA this year, re-visiting sites and dreaming big for the 2016 Eastern Division Conference in the Back Bay (February 10-13, 2016--put it in your calendar now!).

But while we're busy planning for 2016, I invite you to take advantage of all of the ACDA-sponsored events & opportunities this year brings. And please spread the word about the Sing-Up! membership campaign so that everyone in our field can experience all that ACDA has to offer.

As always, we're listening, and we're here to serve.

Membership has its Benefits

Ever wished there were a quick link to share with a colleague or student that would explain the many benefits of an ACDA Membership? Well, now there is!

The ACDA SingUp! website is a great place to refer someone interested in getting a 10,000 foot view of all that ACDA provides--plus, it's also not a bad place to go to remind yourself of everything ACDA offers to its members. And when you refer a friend for membership, ACDA will thank both of you with a set of hand-selected and previously unreleased recordings of choral performances from ACDA's division conferences.

Go to www.ACDASingUp.org now, refer a friend, and receive the gift of free music!

ACDA Career Center
Are you actively looking for a job in the choral world? Or perhaps you're just open to new career options as they arise?

Then you need to join the new ACDA Career Center.
It's completely free, and you remain anonymous until you give permission to be identified. You can search conducting and choral position listings, create emailed job alerts when new postings are added, or upload a résumé to the confidential database - even import from LinkedIn.

And if you're an employer, this is where you will find the finest choral directors, teachers, and professors online. Unlike the passive job boards of yesterday, your posting will be pushed out to interested candidates, and you will be provided with the latest social media access, mobile compatibility, sophisticated search options, and candidate profile data.

Visit the Career Center today.

A Call for Donations to the Kegerreis Scholarship Fund
ACDA East invites you to make a tax-deductible donation to the Kegerreis Scholarship Fund

Richard Kegerreis (1928-2002) contributed enormously to ACDA through his service as editor of the Eastern Division's Troubadour, as national coordinator of newsletter editors, and as editor of New York's state newsletter Choral Cues. To honor these contributions, as well as his life as a dedicated choral conductor and mentor, the Board of the Eastern Division in 2002 established the Kegerreis ACDA Eastern Division Conference Scholarships.

Your donation to the fund is the gift of a transformative experience for our future conductors. Donate today by clicking here.
