Women's Ministry Message from Joy

MikeJoy

Hello North Point:

As the weather cools and the lovely autumn air turns our leaves to shades of orange and red, here at the church we are also growing and changing.

This years' focus for North Point Women's programs is "Simplicity in Prayer". And as much activity begins in the next few weeks, both for our children, adult education and choir, so also is a new Bible Study on Fridays for young moms with free childcare! Heather Morrison and I will team teach Psalm 23 and are very eager to learn along with you what the Holy Spirit has to teach us with this ancient yet very current and most beloved of Psalms about prayer and trust. This study will meet for 8 weeks starting on September 20th from 9:30-11am in our fellowship area.

On October 5th starting at 9:30am we also want to invite all women to brunch at the church to meet new friends and chat with old ones and discover, together, how to grow our women's' groups at North Point. This will be a time of vision casting, brainstorming and discovering what is next on this journey.

I am excited to be a part of this transition as our church experiences lots of growth from young families, to retired and of course our military families!

Valerie Endicott (who can be reached easily at the church office), Heather Morrision  dhmorrison1993@comcast.net and I joiepickard@gmail.com want to hear from you. In fact, if you are not already connected via email, please send one of us your email or note on the comment card so we can add you to our mailing list.

Do join us October 5th for good food, coffee and tea and bring a friend!

Blessings on your week and your family.

Joy
