Polar vortex, snow, ice, slush, more ice, no school for five days...it's been quite a winter! Perspective always clears my head though, and although I'm just as excited about spring as the next person, I also remind my kids of the many things we have to be grateful for! "It's 32 degrees, Mom! I don't need my coat!" says my now ten year-old. Bottom line? We are safe and warm and enjoying the Olympics games, and that's enough for us! We are excited to launch a newly updated What's Happening calendar next week! We are also busy updating our summer camp directory. It officially launches March 1st. Thank you Lisa Whelpley for coordinating our e-updates, always full of timely info for you. Best way to help us grow is to forward this email to a friend! On the email, forward this to two or more friends you think might not know about our website. If you copy SpringfieldMoms.org@gmail.org on your forward, you will be entered in our drawing for a $25 Visa card! Cheers,
