Recap of September

Ford of Clinton logo

Thank you for providing transportation to the

Washington Summit.

From the desk of Janna Bass...
The Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce is honored to be able to provide members opportunities to network, advertise, attend seminars, and more. From the Chamber serving as a voice to its members in Washington D.C. (see above photo) to continuing to work on the Chamber Coat Closet signature project to help those in need stay warm this winter... September has held new opportunities creating endless possibilities.

The opportunities continue through September with our participation in the first Available Properties Event in Downtown Clinton, Chamber Day in Harrells, New Member Showcase at the VFW, continued involvement in the Town of Garland and Roseboro NC Step Committees, new involvement with the Downtown Clinton Economic Restructuring Committee, and the start of the 2012-2013 Clinton-Sampson Adult Leadership Classes. Again, each of these opportunities hold endless possibilities.

We thank each of you for your support and dedication to the Chamber and Sampson County and we continue to encourage each of you to take advantage of the networking, advertising, and educational opportunities the Chamber offers and
let the Chamber work for you!

Chamber Day

The Town of Harrells Chamber Day was September 6th, held at the Town of Harrells Town Hall. Janna Bass enjoyed the opportunity to sit down with current members to discuss how the Chamber can continue to help with their needs. She also was able to share with non-chamber members the opportunities the chamber provides to our members and the partnerships throughout Sampson County. Thank you to the Town of Harrells for helping host this event. The next Chamber Day is scheduled for October 4th with the Town of Roseboro.

9.13.12 BAH. New Member Showcase_VFW
Business After Hours/New Member Showcase hosted by V.F.W. Post 7547
New Chamber Members had a chance to showcase their business/organization at September's Business After Hours and New Member Showcase on September 13, 2012, hosted by the V.F.W. Post 7547. Many also donated a door prize which was another marketing tool for them to utilize. The VFW donated a country ham for the final door prize. The VFW Women's Auxiliary had delicious refreshments, and a few of the new members brought tasty items to add to the table. Each new member had an opportunity to speak for a minute about their business/organization. Thank you new members for your participation in this showcase. Thank you VFW Post 7547 for hosting our New Member Reception again. It was a great event!
