Happy Thanksgiving from Our Family to Yours!

For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.

What are You Thankful For?
We have
more than a boatload of
things to be thankful for here at Norton's.
  • We have the best clients in the world!
  • We love helping people realize their dreams.
  • We are fortunate to work on the water surrounded by beautiful boats.
  • We take pride in our great team of honest people that care a lot about their work and Norton's.
  • We really enjoy our work; love meeting new boaters; and are keenly interested in keeping up with all  Norton's extended family of boat owners.

Someone once said, "For all the things you wear, your expression is the most important." Yes, we smile! You are the reason for our smiles! To all of our clients and industry professionals... thank you for your business, support, loyalty, and most of all...our friendship. Norton's will be closed on November 28 & 29 so that we can spend time with our families at home.

Have a bountiful Thanksgiving!

We are thankful for the wonderful charter season that we enjoyed this year.  September was the busiest charter month on record. We appreciate the exceptional feedback from our charterers.  We listen and some changes are coming about for next charter season. Stay tuned.  If you'd like to discuss putting

your sailboat in Norton's charter program, let's talk about it now!

Winter's coming...Get a head start in the prevention of mildew down below.
Ken Schmalenberger
If your boat is not hauled or winterized for the season, chances are you are thinking about it. It's the perfect time to think about preparing your boat for warmer weather. Each Spring, boaters struggle with mildew that propagates  during the Winter, when nothing else seems to grow. Cabin lockers, sails, cushions, galley compartments, etc. are all vulnerable to mold spores. Mold grows in ripe ventilation and humidity conditions. It's easier to prevent than to remove. I'm sure you will agree that the last thing you want to deal with when you're ready to sail again in the Spring is mildew. Here are some tips on taking control and preventing mildew.
