Rainy days got you down? Don't fear because this month and next, the Library is releasing a variety of movies for you to enjoy whether it is raining or not! With your library card you are able to reserve the movie of your choice without leaving the house. It is as easy as logging into your Library account online! Throughout August and September new movies will be available to view so you do not want to miss out!

Olivia Gorecke's Artwork on Display at the Library! 


Our very own staff member, Olivia Gorecke, was recently recognized in the Middle Township Gazzette and on SNJ Today for her unique perler bead artwork. With 30,000 beads Olivia has been able to bring characters such as Wonder Woman, Captain America, and the Joker to life. Her work is on display in our graphic novel section and includes a rendition of Hans Solo, Spiderman, and Wonder Woman. Stop by today to check our her incredible work and browse our graphic novels section.

Oil Painting Transformation


The Avalon History Center will host a presentation on Oil Painting Transformation tonight at 7pm. The event will take place at the Avalon History Center located at 215 39th Street. Staff members at The History Center will showcase its special 1889 Joseph Wells landscape painting of Avalon which has recently been restored. Guests can learn about the artist, see process photos of the restoration and even point out specific places such as the Avalon Hotel.
