Have You Identified Your 2016
Ten Most Wanted?

January 28, 2016
In This Issue

During our Celebration Services in January, I have invited those present to identify people with whom they have a relationship who either do not have a relationship with Jesus or who are not active in a vibrant faith community where they could be nurtured and encouraged in the faith.

We have done this for a number of years but we develop a new list each year.  Some people included names of people who were on their list in prior years.  Many identify new persons.  I challenge each of us to identify at least 10 persons who would become our Most Wanted in this time frame.

I don't want anyone to miss out on the opportunity to stand in the gap for persons who are far from God.  If you have not identified your Most Wanted for 2016 yet or if you would like to identify additional names, please read on and join in our new initiative to reach out to our Most Wanted.

In Christ,

Keith Boyette, Pastor
IDENTIFYING YOUR MOST WANTED

You are invited to identify people with whom God has placed you in relationship -- people who either do not have a relationship with Jesus and/or who are not connected to a vital church family where they can be encouraged and nurtured in their faith.  Share the names you identify on the Most Wanted form.  Please enter a first and last name.  The names will be kept confidential.

Pastor Keith will pray for the persons you identify and pray for you as you are in relationship with them.  The initials of each person will be placed on a large banner in our Celebration Hall so we can pray for them regularly and so we can celebrate God's activity in their lives.

You can access the Most Wanted form at any time to add additional names as God places persons on your heart.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Once you have filled out your Most Wanted form, you are urged to pray for the persons you have identified regularly.  Listen to God and respond as He prompts you to relate to the persons you have identified.

Pray for the persons you have identified on a regular basis and be open to the ways in which God will have you relate to these persons so that you can be His hands and feet in inviting them to move closer to God and become involved in Christian community.
LET US KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!

As you participate in this experience, I would appreciate your sharing what happens with me in person, by telephone or by email.  How does God meet you?  What is most significant for you?  How do you see God working in the lives of those you have identified on your Most Wanted list?  Especially let me know if one or more of the people you have listed invites Jesus into their life or begins going to church!  You can let me know as events occur by completing the Most Wanted Update form on our website.

RESOURCES FOR THE JOURNEY

I want to resource you as God works in your life and in the lives of your Most Wanted.  If you have not done so, I encourage you to take the next Wilderness Class that you have not completed.  These classes equip you to be used by God in the lives of the persons identified on your Most Wanted list.  Wilderness 401 is especially applicable as it provides you with resources for understanding the testimony God has given you and how you can share it with those God has already placed in your life.

Consider inviting those persons listed on your Most Wanted list to one of our Sunday celebration services, one of the many events or activities we have at Wilderness, to our next Alpha class which will begin on Thursday, February 18, to participate in one of our small groups or to be part of a service opportunity such as our Food Pantry outreach.

Sit down with Pastor Keith to share about one or more of the persons you have identified, to pray together for the person and to discuss specific ways you might encourage them.

God is going to do some wonderful things because of your willingness to be His servant through this opportunity.
