"The 2013 shows a little more complexity and elegance than the 2012, that I tasted a few weeks ago, which was also an opaque purple red blend of malbec with syrah and bonarda. Expect aromas of black cherry jam, blueberry and red grapefruit with delicate oak spice. It is full bodied and flavourful with some firm tannin giving grip and acidity for vibrancy. Housed in a one-of-a-kind square bottle (reminiscent of olive oil) it has a trio of labeling - standard paper, ornamental raised glass and embossing . . . The nose offers expected jammy aromas - black raspberry, blueberry and cherries with mocha, vanilla, licorice and spice cake. The palate is supple with generous fruit, cola spice and chocolate.
