Tasting Notes

Petite Sirah and Syrah form base notes of blueberries, cherries, chocolate, and spice, while Sangiovese and Zinfandel provide pure high tone, blackberry and raspberry jam. Merlot is the intermediary, filling in the mid-palate and offering ripe plum and juiciness to the mid palate and finish. These wines were artfully blended in such a way to bring a seamless harmony to the finished wine, while expressing the complex nature of the various components.

The 2010 Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of black cherry, plum and violets, followed by subtle flavors of strawberry and allspice on the mid-palate. Firm yet supple tannins finish off this approachable, fruit-driven Cabernet Sauvignon, making it ideal for a variety of food pairings.

Tasting Notes

Light gold in colour with immediate aromas of tropical fruit and yellow apple followed by subtle floral notes. Elegant flavours of pineapple and melon are knitted with bursts of citrus. Light French oak barrel aging adds hints of butterscotch and toastiness to the palate. Well balanced acidity gives the 2012 Chardonnay a long, silky finish.

Tasting Notes

A blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourv�dre. Intense ruby red in colour, red fruit, spice, liquorice aroma, supported by a pleasant structure and mellow tannins. Very pleasant to drink in its youth, reaches its peak after 2 to 3 years. Pair with roasted veal or poultry, casserole, fresh goat and sheep cheeses.
