ABOUT CHATEAU PIPEAU 

 

CHATEAU PIPEAU is a family-owned estate, three kilometres from the famous town of SAINT-EMILION, which has been in the family for three generations. Today, Richard MESTREGUILHEM is carrying on his father's good work by keeping the estate management entirely a family affair. The estate is managed according to strict principles, with carefully-dosed sprays against disease, cluster thinning to limit yields, leaf-stripping towards harvest-time in order to optimize the ripening process and careful sorting during harvesting. Thanks to this painstaking work, recent vintages have been endowed with exceptional qualities of fruit, together with greater aromas and tannins.
