93 POINTS Wine Spectator
"Bright and focused, with bracing acidity and a strong undercurrent of saline minerality. Flavors of quince, green pear, lemon verbena and dried apricot wrap around the minerally core, but it takes hold again on the finish with lots of lingering notes of white pepper, fleur de sel and hot stone. This purrs like a finely tuned Ferrari, combining both power and finesse. Drink now through 2030."

18/20 POINTS Jancis Robinson MW

"Rich but bone dry. Some honey yet steely too. Mid gold. Big, confident. So much tucked in here. Impressive." June 2012

F.E. TRIMBACH Front Door

F.E. TRIMBACH

For almost four centuries, the Trimbach Family has been promoting Alsace and its History, its exceptional terroirs and fine wines.  Maison Trimbach is still located in Ribeauvillé and still owned by the two grandsons of Fédéric Théodore, Bernard and Hubert, since their father's untimely death in 1945.

The Family personaly looks after each operation, from planting to harvests and from vinification to bottling.

Maison Trimbach's vineyards are all situated around Ribeauvillé, where the soils are dominant in  limestone (Ribeauvillé, Hunawihr, Bergheim, Rorschwihr, Riquewihr and Mittelwihr).

They benefit from the unique alsatian microclimate, thanks to the Vosges Mountains protection, which preserves the plain from the rain.

The Trimbachs have always had a purist vision. For 12 generations, the Family has been producing dry wines, very strictly structured, long-living and fruity, elegant and balanced: it's the Trimbach Style!

The Trimbach's let their wines age in the bottles in the cellar during several years before they release them on the market, especially for the Great Wines, such as Riesling Cuvée Frédéric Emile.

Riesling « Cuvée Frédéric Emile » is the Signature wine of the Family. It's a dry and mineral Riesling, which remains  true to the House's Philosophy. Coming from the Geisberg and the Osterberg, two marno-calcaro-gréseux soils, Riesling Fédéric Emile has a great ageing potential.
