Animals We Love Auction

Don't miss out on 93 opportunities to support our work and acquire an original, magnificent small work of art, perfect for holiday giving (or keeping)!

The 9th annual contest and eBay auction, titled Animals We Love, celebrates the creatures we adore, and documents the work of 87 artists from 23 states and 6 countries. The annual small quilt auction is one of the Quilt Alliance's most important fundraisers, supporting projects like Quilters' S.O.S. -Save Our Stories (Q.S.O.S.) and Go Tell It at the Quilt Show!, and enabling our participation in projects like The Quilt Index.

Auction weeks begin/end on Mondays at 9pm EDT.

Week two: Nov. 16-23

Week one quilts include works by (below, l to r): Cindy Cooksey, Mary Kerry & Sarah Entsminger, and Susan Brubaker Knapp.

Quilt Stories from Sacred Threads

Earlier this summer the Quilt Alliance collaborated with the Sacred Threads Exhibition to document, preserve and share the stories of artists whose work was included in the Sacred Threads biennial exhibition in Herndon, Virginia. Forty artists were videotaped telling the story of their quilts. The Go Tell It! formula is simple and powerful: "one quilt + one person + one camera, three minutes --another quilt story saved!"

If you would like to document your next exhibition with Go Tell It at the Quilt Show! interviews, contact Emma Parker, the Quilt Alliance oral history projects manager.
