The Airport Show is a special exhibition of APG photographers to be exhibited and promoted during Atlanta Celebrates Photography. The exhibition is displayed in the central atrium of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, where thousands of travelers pass  

through daily. A great opportunity for international exposure in  

the world's busiest airport! 

  

The show will feature 11 photographers and consist of: 

  • One 6-image exhibition and
  • Two 4-image exhibitions and
  • Eight 2-image exhibitions

 There is no theme. Submissions should consist of a minimum of 6 images that work together as a group as well as being strong individual images.

 

** A second show of the work will be held in the APG Gallery,  

at which time the matted prints will be auctioned to raise funds to help support APG's on-going operations. Each photographer will have the  

option of retaining up 50% of sales.    


** In addition, each selected photographer will have their work published in the Fall Line Press Limited Edition Catalog of the show.

"With the crafting of a mythology involving a human post-apocalyptic scenario, I had the archeological vision of embedded bodies/figures being excavated in the future by explorers or myth seekers from other tribes and whereabouts... and with imagination, myself in the

Barbara Griffin will look for a variety of styles, subjects and techniques to curate this dynamic show for APG!

  

Ms. Griffin is responsible for the creative direction, design, production and assignment of all photography created to support the marketing and communications outreach of the Turner entertainment, animation and news networks. In addition, she oversees the Turner Photo Library, a collection of more than six million images. Barbara Griffin is the current President of Atlanta Celebrates Photography.
