Enjoy other events around the Flathead this month to celebrate Earth Day!  

 

April 22nd: The Flathead Conservation District is screening Symphony of the Soil, a feature length film that explores the complexity and mystery of soil. April 23rd: Celebrate Earth Week with friends and a pint at the Crush, featuring a photographic retrospective by nationally renowned ceramist Stephen "Stevia" Braun. Braun combines technical virtuosity with a heavy dose of absurdity, wit, and a passion for the earth. This is Braun's first public presentation in his hometown of Whitefish. If you care about art, the planet or both, this is an opportunity not to be missed! Time 7:00pm - 9:00pm Sponsored by Glacier Climate Action.

 

April 27th and 28th: The Flathead River to Lake Initiative is seeking volunteers for a tree planting event as part of restoration efforts along the Flathead River. For more details or to volunteer please email or call Megan at: riversteward15@gmail.com or (406) 752-4242 x 109.

    Come to Depot Park in Whitefish on April 25th for a community celebration of Earth Day! This family-friendly event will feature entertainment from popular children's performer and educator Doc Wild, a solar-powered bounce house and 26-foot high climbing wall, local food trucks and vendors, music, and 30+ information and kid-friendly, hands-on, activity booths. Learn more about local organizations and agencies working to keep the Flathead special.
