FAREWELL TO A WONDERFUL SCHOOL YEAR
If we teach today as we taught yesterday, we rob our children of tomorrow -- John Dewey
And so we've reached the end of an amazing year of discovery and learning in the nurturing environment of our ECC. The children have grown in leaps and bounds and it has been an honor to have had the opportunity to have been part of this wonderful voyage of discovery!
It is my hope that each month, holiday, every Kabbalat Shabbat and the wonderful events that have made our school year unique, will become treasured times that pave the way as the children continue on this journey, filled with moments of awe.
Your constant support and involvement were so crucial in enhancing this educational experience. The end of a cycle is always bittersweet, but we ought to look at each stepping stone with joy and appreciation in anticipation of the next stage. Always remember the importance of the process; the changes and growth that your child has gone through, emotionally, socially and cognitively.
Let's continue to strengthen this home-school connection; the experience of the early childhood years is not complete without the parents as active partners! Mazal Tov to our Pre-Kindergarten graduates and a wonderful summer to all!
Shabbat Shalom,
Sandra Huzenman, M.S.
