GENERATIONS' DAY 2015
While walking along a road, a sage saw a man planting a carob tree. He asked him: "How long will it take for this tree to bear fruit?" "Seventy years," replied the man. The sage then asked: "Are you so healthy a man that you expect to live that length of time and eat its fruit?" The man answered: "I found a fruitful world, because my ancestors planted it for me. Likewise I am planting for my children." Talmud Ta'anit 23a
I often say that the journey through education, beginning with Early Childhood, is one that engages the entire family. This statement embodies the foundation of the Gordon School as we intentionally build and nurture relationships that continue to strengthen our community. Sharing Generations' Day with your families has filled our school with excitement and we hope to have created memories that you will cherish!
May we continue to go from strength to strength,
Shabbat Shalom,
