We are pleased to announce that your staff reviews can now be added to the product pages of individual titles. We're pretty excited about this new feature and we've tried our best to make it easy for you to feature reviews and for your customers to find them.
To use this feature store admins can go to a product page, click the "staff reviews" tab, and then simply add the review in the wysiwyg text box. That's all there is to it.
Additionally, many of you have created book lists with reviews, and you can add these reviews to the product page simply by checking a box you will find below each title in a list. No need to copy/paste these reviews, just click the box and they will appear.
To enable this feature, please request activation by emailing email@example.com.
Cool features of this new function include:
- The option to add staff pictures to a review simply by using the insert image function in the text box.
- Even if a review is not added for a particular isbn (say, the review was added with the publication of the hardback), the system will look for - and present - reviews entered for all related editions.
- Staff reviews will be included in search. Store admins can boost the search weights of 'Staff Reviews' to appear first in results automatically, or customers can sort search results by reviews using the drop-down menu provided.
- A 'Staff Pick' icon will appear across the top left corner on the cover image when a book has reviews - on the product page, search results page, browse page and book lists.
