WHY I TEACH
The focus is not just on the outcome but on the merits of the work itself. I am much more focused on the essence of what I do, how the teaching occurs, the learning experience itself. Learning is the result of an exceptional experience.
I have been a facilitator at every Scaling New Heights QuickBooks consultant conference since inception in 2009. I thank my friend and colleague Joe Woodard for the continued confidence in the superior learning experience for participants.
This year is no exception, I was invited to lead four sessions at the upcoming epic event in Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas

Qbox provides an affordable and efficient solution for QuickBooks collaboration. One of the main reasons people are moving their accounting to the cloud is to simplify interaction with shared users.
With Qbox, accountants, bookkeepers and their client's continue to use the same desktop version of QuickBooks. However, using Qbox, they have a locally hosted copy of the file that is continually synchronized with their remote client's copy. In other words, no more sending QBW files back and forth, no more screen sharing, no expensive cloud hosting and no more downloading/uploading of QuickBooks files.

QuickBooks End of Life - Annual May 31st Obsolescence
It is time for that annual event when Intuit ends support for 3-year-old versions of QuickBooks. Intuit announced for May 31st, 2016, this includes all versions of QuickBooks 2013 (Pro, Premier, Enterprise Solutions, Accountant Edition, and Mac). The services that will stop working include Payroll, Technical Support, Payments (merchant processing), and Online Banking.
This means QuickBooks versions 2014, 2015 and 2016 are still fully supported and have the add-on services. Any version of QuickBooks from 2013 or earlier will still run but it loses add-on features and services that are valuable to many users.

The Open Window List feature in QuickBooks is sure to help you work more efficiently. It is a quick, one-click access to any open QuickBooks window. This allows you to quickly find features and functions that you were previously using.
You can find the Open Window List on the left side of the program. If it is not visible, then simply turn it on by clicking VIEW, OPEN WINDOW LIST.
Another way to view all of the open windows in QuickBooks can be found under the WINDOWS menu. However, it may require multiple clicks, depending on how many windows are open.
To quickly close all open windows, click CLOSE ALL under the WINDOWS menu.
