By the time you read this, I will be back from the "2014 Intuit Reseller Rally" - the annual Intuit partner conference in San Francisco. It was refreshing and insightful to get an update on Intuit's strategy for QuickBooks, Point of Sale, and Online products. We also used this opportunity to connect with key Intuit personnel as well as gain inside knowledge on products and services. As part of the event, we were invited to "Gallery Walk" at Intuit headquarters in Mountain View, CA - a showcase of up and coming technologies. Among the innovations is an app that allows to process credit card payments on the Google Glass platform. Using Google Glass in and of itself was literally a view into the future... ...MARIO |
How long should we say
"Happy New Year"?
We are over a month into 2014 and some of us find ourselves still wishing "Happy New Year" to friends and colleagues we haven't seen since 2013. Is there an official cut-off for wishing "Happy New Year"?
Here's a list of idea's that may shed some light on the matter:
- Depends on when you see the person
- One rule of thumb is January 6th
- After you have already wished that person a Happy New Year, then do not tell them again
- 12:01 a.m. on Jan. 2.
- Until you're tired of saying it
- Make a point of seeing friends and family before the end of January!
With these thoughts in mind, HAPPY NEW YEAR! May this calendar year be one filled with peace, love and good fortune!
